The brightest of futures for Walworth Academy students!
Walworth Academy is proud to announce another year of exceptional Key Stage 5 results, with students achieving impressive outcomes across both A Level and BTEC qualifications. The dedication and resilience of our sixth formers paid off, with many securing places at top universities and competitive apprenticeships. These results reflect the strength of our academic and vocational pathways, and the unwavering support from staff and families.
A Level students at Walworth Academy have excelled, with a significant number achieving A*-B grades in a range of subjects. Notable achievements include the social sciences, where our Sociology team have delivered astonishing outcomes – 100% of grades secured at top level (A*-B), and Geography bright spots, including A* performances.
Our BTEC students have also performed remarkably, with many attaining Distinction and Distinction* grades across the range of Applied Science, Business and IT practitioner courses. These achievements highlight the diverse talents of our learners and the inclusive, high-quality education provided at the academy.
We are especially proud of the individual journeys that have led to these successes. Mariam Tingwale, with a portfolio of top grades, shared, “I can’t believe it; I’m really excited about what comes next!” Students will now be heading off to a range of exciting destinations, including Adam Cheraita, who leaves us for a place at the prestigious Royal Veterinary College, and Johnny He who will continue his studies at the University of Durham, after achieving a perfect score of three starred Distinctions in his Business BTEC. These pathways reflect the ambition and aspiration nurtured at Walworth Academy.
Principal Jessica West commented, “We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements. These results are a testament to their hard work, the commitment of our staff, and the strength of our community.” As we look ahead, Walworth Academy remains committed to empowering young people to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
