Walworth Academy Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Results! 

Walworth Academy is proud to announce yet another year of exceptional GCSE results, reflecting the hard work, resilience, and ambition of our students and staff! 

Principal Jessica West expressed her pride in the achievements of the Year 11 cohort: “We are thrilled to see so many of our students achieving their goals and preparing for the next exciting chapter in their education.” 

This year’s results highlight significant progress across core subjects, with notable successes in English literature, where results stood in significant excess of national average. In Further Mathematics GCSE, 55% of students achieved were the top grades of 8 or 9. Walworth teams in History and Photography also shone brightly, with record results at 7+.  

Many students have exceeded expectations, securing top grades and paving the way for further academic and vocational opportunities, leading to record enrolment here at Walworth Academy Sixth. The academy continues to build on its strong culture of aspiration and excellence, ensuring every student is empowered to succeed. 

Walworth Academy congratulates all students on their achievements and looks forward to welcoming many of them back in September as they begin their post-16 studies.
